I was lead designer mostly for environments, and color keys. We had to keep within a pretty tight schedule, so we focused on reuse-ability, efficient workflow, and proper delegation. I learned and used a lot of 3D workflow to properly scale out the environments, while adhering to the cartoony shape design of the original movie.
It was awesome being a junior designer on the film, and getting the opportunity to lead on the same IP!
